Born in Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra, Doris grew up with a determination far greater than her circumstances. From an early age, she was committed to creating a better life for herself and those around her. That determination carried her to Jakarta, where she worked tirelessly, holding down two jobs while putting herself through college. Her hard work paid off. Doris not only graduated, but she also secured her dream position in the world of financial banking.

Success in her career never dimmed her true passion: helping people. Doris has always believed in giving others opportunities to build better lives, especially within Indonesia’s underserved communities. Together with her close friend Arianti, she co-founded the Harmony Hope Foundation in Sulawesi Indonesia, a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting education, opportunity, and empowerment for those who need it most.

This passion for people and her vision for change aligned perfectly with Captain Kieran Kelly, founder of Ocean Integrity. Sharing the same drive and belief in action over words, Doris became an integral part of the Ocean Integrity journey. Today, she serves as the CEO of Ocean Integrity Indonesia, bringing her years of expertise in finance, leadership, and social impact to the mission of fighting plastic pollution and restoring our oceans.

Under her leadership, Ocean Integrity has expanded beyond its early beginnings into a true global force. With a growing advisory board, dedicated international teams, and innovative technologies, Ocean Integrity has become more than just a dream for Doris and Kieran, it has exceeded their vision. What started as determination and courage has now become a worldwide movement, changing lives on land while restoring ecosystems at sea.
